Bud's address is:

Forrest Weaver
832 East H street
Ontario, California
91764

his Email:
supr69bee@roadrunner.com

And IIRC Scott Smith (Harms Automotive) was carrying Bud's six-pack solution set screws and tool...

Bud moved to Texas and quit making the screws, I believe he had health issues.

Yes 8-32 thread, and they were Allen head set screws with the ends turned to match the needle seat angle, if you have access to a lathe you could make your own, the tool could be fashioned from a ball head Allen wrench and a compression spring

Wow thanks for the info
I'm a machinist
I'll make a couple sets no problem
The one in the carb had broke
I guess that tool looks like a extended ball allen wrench
I did know if it had some type of cable on the end to help get in there -like a speedometer cable thanks for the pics they do the trick and I can get going on this thing

There was one version where Bud had cut the end of the Allen ball end wrench, about an 1 1/4" off and reattached it with a stiff compression spring to join the pieces together by just sliding the spring over the two ends so it could flex... but this was his latest tool below

Yeah made the screws and tool
ended up makin the tool out of a ball allen wrench and a speedometer cable works fine
I don't have a pic right now but made steel sleeves to go from the seedo cable to the allen wrench and then to a small handle
Im at work now if I can remember ill take a pic and try to post this evening

What length screw? Did you use a stainless steel screw?
