I bought a set of Arruzza hemi engine mounts from a member here a few years back. My engine was already in with a set of Schumacher mounts. And its a bit of a chore to pull the engine to swap the mounts, but I knew I be into it in the future. Well, the future is now. I had to drop the trans for a rebuild, and drop the TTi's to get the trans down. So the car is on a lift and the engine is supported with a bar. I pulled the driver side mount and tried to test fit the LH Arruzza mount on the pad. No go. By 1/4 inch. The seller made it a point to say he bought them, attached it his engine, but never mounted it to a k-frame.
Hoping to find somebody with an B or E-body k-frame without an engine on it.
**Would someone measure the pad width on their B or E-body V8 k-frame LH side where the bolt goes thru?** Then I can compare it to my mount width. It'd be a huge help to me.

It might be several days before I can get back over there but I wrote myself a note to measure it.

So the mounts I bought appear to be like the Arruzza mounts except .2in narrow. Tried spreading the mounting ears, but warps the backing plate, and moves the location. I'm convinced they are fakes. I don't trust the passenger side to be correct at this point.
So I've tried for a week to call John Arruzza using the two phone numbers I have. No luck so far. Anybody talked to him recently? I'm ready to throw my cash at him. Else my choices are back with the Schu's, or buy a hemi k-frame and mounts, or go Alterkation or similar.

Yep, Aruzza has retired or at least gotten out of the car business. He went off the deep end w/ a rant/prediction about the end of the world a while back.

I actually have a set of what are supposed to be Aruzza hemi conversion mounts on the shelf. Bought em from a member here a few years ago. Not for sale, need em to put the hemi in my dad's road runner. I can take a measurement to compare to yours if needed? Just let me know exactly what you need and I'd be happy to help.

That'd be awesome. Can you measure inside width of the ears on the solid mount? And distance from front ear to edge. Stuff I have marked in green. Thanks much. Between the mount ears is about 2.750". The edge to the mount ear is 1.300". I measured the width of the mount on an old '69 road runner k frame and its about 2.710". Hope this helps.
