I'm currently running an old Proform 7qt. pan that's seen some abuse over the last 25 years and I'm looking to replace it. I'm thinking about going to the E Body St Hemi pan for more ground clearance. Would this pan be suitable, capacity wise? I'm thinking it is, but looking for other input. I'm running low 11s at around 6400 through the lights.

I ran that pan in my old Duster with the pump gas 518 C.I. low deck stroker motor, it needed to be above the add mark at the 1/4 mile track to not see a small drop of oil pressure when I let off on the other end It would cross the finish line between 6500 and 7100 RPM depending on which tires where on the rear at 10.00 ET at 134.+ MPH No problems on the street ever with that pan or at the 1/8 mile tracks I use them now on every build I can
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

you folks are more generous in your positive comments about the 6qt pan than i'd be. Not entirely sure what you mean. However, if it's because of the minimal amount of oil control, that's why mine is set up as described HERE.

Make sure it's their version of the Street Hemi pan 30761, not the lower-capacity standard pan 30760. The 30761 is $150.95 through Summit.
