I purchased a new (rebuilt) set of front calipers for my 70 e-body, and they came with all of the hardware except for the end pin positioning clips (see picture). Do I need these and if so, why didn't they come with the kit?

I should add that I don't have them, and the ones in the picture are 80 bucks...

The ones that are 80 bucks because they are 69-70 C body, and 70 B & E Body. They are styled somewhat differently than the ones from 71 on up, till the end, when Chrysler stopped installing them on their cars brakes. So if you not an anal, correct assembly line type of parts guy, don't buy the 1970's ones, and get the 71 on up ones, or don't use them at all.

The pins that came with my rebuilt calipers look like those in your attachment. So I guess I'm good to go?
