Usually the only difference is anti ballooning
plate in the conv(high torque)
wave

Our 8” dynamic for our 904 clearly said in the paperwork “not for transbrake use”, but my dad used a griner brake with it. That was a 400hp deal, and never had any issues.

I wiped out a thrust surface on the RB in my old Mirada when I went t-brake. Repaired the crank, and got a new converter. Didn’t have a prob after that. Both of those deals were learning experiences.

In the last year I’ve upgraded the 904 converter for use with a brake. Hope to play with it in my mid 9’s Duster. I currently run a 727, and both of the converters for it are brake ready.

Are you willing to find out that your current foot brake converter will hurt your motor using it with the trans brake trans? work
I wouldn't tsk
