Buddy of mine is looking for some sealed beams with the plastic lens in place of the glass version. For a 68 Cuda.

Used to see them all the time back in the 80's but can't seem to find them now.

Anyone have a source for them ( and part number if you do )?

I don't remember ever seeing plastic 6024 headlights. That's a new one on me.

You can get modern day plastic Chinese headlamps on e-pay but are too bling blingy.
I remember seeing plastic covers you put over headlmaps, but not plastic housings.
Square headlamps in K cars and M bodies were plastic, yes, but not older Mopars.

Older Marchall,Cibie,Carello halogen conversions were made of glass.

I remember this discussion here a long time ago, somebody made them in the past. However there were very hard to find at the time and probably impossible now.

I would like them for my 69 Cuda also.

The whole headlight - instead of glass supposedly there was one made in plastic.

I told him if he can't find plastic ones he could probably eliminate the same amount of weight by wearing silk undies.

I was thinking the housings that take halogen bulb. But then that wouldn't be a sealed beam.

He doesn't care if it's a sealed beam or not - looking for the plastic housing then - and install a halogen bulb - that would be fine.

Recently there were some that were weighed. They were actually heavier than the glass ones.

I used vision x. I can't remember if they were glass or plastic. The last set I converted I used the new jk housings Everton upgrades them so you can get them cheap. they need an adapter for the different bulb plug though.
