Where I started this was taken within days of when I bought it. Since the #'s 340 was locked up I disassembled and stored it and built another I could "build"

The good part is was very solid here is the pass floor (driver side is similar etc)

The car is numbers matching (#'s enginge stashed though) is is also a V21 blackout hood coded car with a color keyed grille from the factory. I do metal fab but XtremeJohn does the welding and is my resident body man also leading the charge on the current paint work...and he has pics too. Thanks. I've been here pretty much the whole time, but a bit more limited. About a year after my surgery my wife decided that "here" was a place she didn't want to be. I sold off almost all my car stuff and nifty tools (English wheel, bead roller, stretcher and shrinker, etc) and focussed on being a dedicated Dad. I lurked here for awhile, and a little over a year ago, I had the opportunity to trade the last car I had (a 69 340 Dart body) for a 56 Dodge 2-door sedan "gasser", so I did. Now you'll find me mostly frequenting this section and the street rodders section. The kids are a bit older now and actually willing to learn stuff in the shop, and since the 56 showed up, I got a 54 Fargo, 2 37 Plymouth pickups, another 56 Dodge 2-door hardtop, and I'm trying to nail down a 56 Plymouth 2-door sedan or hardtop...and MAYBE a 28 Model A roadster...

Now back to our regularly scheduled program this is still a work in progress but....

The trunk lip (specifically the area above license plate) was drilled to clear studs from a deck lid mounted spoiler

Now this is actually the other side but it's still a during pic of the same type repair. An hr or two more and we should be done with them both.
