For me, hands down would be the '55 C-300 the car that started it all,
had luxury and the power to back it up! up

Most real car guys know about the turbine car.

Where are the turbine powered medium duty trucks?

Yes. Strangely enough, I also like the Omni.
But the '55 has to be my favorite of the bunch.

It was way cool to go there just before they opened, when we were on way to Carlisle - think that was summer of 1999. We showed up in my Duster360, and buddies with 98 Cummins towing a convertible they sold (think it was a coronet r/t rental car ??) . . . anyhow, we were in t shirts/shorts - someone mistook us for workers and were shouting at us, to get back to work !!! LOL . . . we casually walked in to see cars covered in plastic sheets and finishing work to be done on the museum . . . sad to see it all closed and gone . . . .

Coolest mopar I have seen in museum, was at Blackhawk in Danvile, CA. They had a 54 or 55 FIBERGLASS Plymouth 2seat roadster, with HEMI power !!! Can only imagine how that would have killed the Corvette, if they ever produced it !!! Wish I had taken a pic of that car !! If ever close to that museum, it is worth going through !!! Ended up there again, during a 300 International club meet !!! All our cars parked at entrance . . . was way cool !! . . .

Nice but too bad they only limited the selection to 10. I've been there several times and all most all of the cars on display made it in there because they were interesting and deserved to be in there for historical and "most interesting" reasons IMO. So many innovations and engineering designs that seemed small at the time but are alive to this day. One example that was showcased was the "Cab Forward" chassis that almost all sedans still use today worldwide. Then brakes, electrical systems, etc... Too bad they closed it. frown . This is still one of my more favorite vehicles on display for some odd reason wink but still liked them all.
