talking with ESPO about some new springs, and she said that the hemi springs are 5 leaves, 2 halves on the right side, 1 half on the left. But mopar also made some heavy duty springs, and I said, "ah, those are the super stock springs", and she said no, these are 6 leaves on both sides, different from the super stock.
I wasn't aware of this. I thought they had the basic springs, hemi/heavy duty, and super stock springs.
Was there a heavy duty, 6 leaves on both sides spring?

SS stock springs are pretty much special Abody springs.thats why you need to move the front mount back because they have a 20 inch front segment. They do make heavy duty springs.Bought a set for my 57 Chrysler when i had it.Suprised me local spring shop had them in stock.Rocky

Super stock springs originally came from the early development of the springs for the early 60's super stock package cars - max wedge then the hemi.
The early B Bodies had 20" front segments. Then they went to 21" then 22".
But the race program engineers realized the 20" spring had more strength so the program continued to use that length.
No significant A Bodies were in production until the release of the 68 Hemi A Bodies.
As for equal number of leaves per side - that's likely not a high performance pack - most all race spring packs had bias control built in them - more leaves on the front half of the passenger side spring compared to the driver side - and more total leaves on the passenger side compared to the driver side based on all the one side I have seen. Except the -002 and -003 Pro Stock springs which had thicker main leaves - I think .330" thick.

Standard-duty (like S6 & 318), HD (like RR/GTX), XHD (like Hemi), and SS. That's what I recall from sales literature, haven't checked difference between standard (4.5 leaves, IIRC) and HD. Published spring rates seem to be all over the map depending on the source. The difference I've noticed over the years is that the lighter-duty springs seem to sag more than the heavier-duty. Only difference is she is saying HD is hemi, XHD had 6 leaves, both sides. Hadn't heard of this. I'll probably just go with the usual hemi.

Well, kinda-sorta: some literature referred to HDs as Hemi, though that was incorrect; XHDs are the actual Hemi springs. That's what I'd do on your car, they were fine on my '68 Hemi RR 4-speed car. Just slightly firmer than the HDs on my 383 RRs, not objectionable in any way. that's what I was thinking.
