Due to space constraints I'm limited to 22" radiator size to cool my 360LA. I'm looking at the Champion MC-2374 3-row with fans but am skeptical that the two 10" fans (combined 2100 CFM) will do the job.
Anybody running this combo with a small block and A/C? How's it working for you?

I would do Nachos' bulkhead parallel bypass & relay the fans right to the alt.

Most of the aftermarket fans sold are pure garbage.
You'd be a lot better off with a fan like the HHR / 3.8 Taurus / 4-cyl contour single fan on a 22"
If you had a 26", the V6 Contour fan is basically the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don't even need the high speed the fans have.
I'm also running a contour fan, EFI, Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump, and everything else on the car on a 78a 12SI Delco alternator.

"Space constraints" is the key phrase. All of the suggested fans are too thick to fit my installation.
Looking for actual user inputs.

Yeah, I agree with ahy. Can you post a picture and/or tell us what your space constraints are? Two big turbos sticking out the front?

What is the space limitation? A pic would help. Maybe generate some ideas. Battery on one side, fuel command on the other, 24" between them; WP hub 3 1/5" from radiator core. Engine mounted low so center of WP is way below core center.

Hi John Here is the fan I use. Mine is set up as a pusher but you have enough room to set it up as a puller. This unit is a little under 2.75in thick. This is a dual speed fan but I have mine set up to run full tilt whenever the thermostatic switch powers it up. I have a Derale adjustable switch with 30amp relay set to 170* and it will hold that temp all day long...even in 100*F ambient air temps. Once, a few years back, I was in the staging lanes and forgot to hit the toggle switch that powers the relay and noticed water temp at 220* Then I realized the relay hadn't been powered up. Within 60 seconds the temp was back down to 170* This is a big 572ci Stroker (700+ HP) so it builds some serious heat. I recommended the same fan to a buddy who runs a Roots blower on his 500in street build. He was having trouble with overheating in the hot Tenessee summer weather. On my recommendation he tried the Rainbow 17" fan setup and it solved all his problems. He was totally impressed. These are 2 of my experiences and there are others ; 2 other buddies are running them on Pro-Charger BB builds with the same excellent results. Both cars are street/strip B-Bodies that run well into the 9's http://www.rainbowproductsonline.com/shroud-fan-assembly/cf-item20017-dual-cage.phpHope this helps... Ron

How did you wire it? RockAuto pic looks like it has two connections (I assume 1 for each fan) and I didn't see a ground connection. It looks like there might be some logic, given the size of the cooling provisions in and the size of the box. Did you just use a single relay with a temp sensor and run both fans together? My application is an E body with 26" radiator. Chris

I had a custom one made for my 70' Challenger. Even added -20 An Fittings for the upper & lower hoses. It is supporting almost 1000 H.P. om motor on the street.

My application is an E body with 26" radiator. Chris I used a Dakota Digital controller. The speeds are controlled by the resistor/diode pack in the lower driver's corner. The two connections on the motor are power and ground. If you don't use the resistor, you get the high speed. Wiring diagram (maybe not real pretty but accurate). My car has an autometer electric gauge so it uses that as a temp sender. Both fans will start and run at the same time. But the low speed on its own works well.
