I need to get four (4) stands to go underneat my 68 B Body for restoration, want to be able to roll around in shop, NOT LOOKING for ones that go under tires. looking for one that will go under body any idea where to get these? Thanks

I built my own for the Challenger. You can kind of see them in my sig pic. I bolted the rears to the front leaf spring hanger mount. The fronts I bolted to the front bumper mounts. A couple of things that you will want to do are make sure you use big casters(so you can move the car easier) and I would tie the left and right stands together.

I just brought my stands home from the body shop. The shop has the car on there own stands. I'm going to rebuild mine with larger casters so when the car comes back, I can put mine right back on. Don't cheap out on the casters. THat's what I did the first time and moving the car was murder.

I dont plan on getting the front but you never know when you need to pack some more snow into that snowball.

spend the money on good casters
be sure that the front is 8" taller than the rear

use front bumber bracket and spring hanger for template

They are 8" dia x 2" wide casters. I haven't had any problem getting on or off a car trailer. Gravel driveways may be a problem, I don't have personal experience with these on gravel. I would go with airless wheels. The sad truth is that many of these casters are going to be on the car for years. Who wants to deal with low or flat tires?
