What is a better brakeing system, 68 cuda 4 piston K/H set up or say a single piston set up from a 75 duster?

Pros and cons

The single piston setup is cheaper, less troublesome, less parts & parts are easier to come by & have BBP. When buying calipers the '76 A body calipers have 2.75" bore as opposed to 2.60" on 73-75 A bodys. gives more bias towards the front & helps counteract rear wheel lockup & better yet would be to get a pair of 11&3/4" caliper adapters & the larger rotors to go along with them & some better pads

LOVE my KH disks. Have them on 2 cars, both stop very well. Small bolt pattern doesn't bother me - I like Rallyes, steelies, and Coy's C-5s, 14"-20" sizes are covered. Oh, and a narrower track than late model disks, which looks better and provides better tire to fender clearance.

It sounds as if you're doing a conversion in which case even if you find the 4 piston calipers you'll never find replacement parts.

I have the later discs on mine now and got a set of the KHs in a trade and was wondering if it would be worth while to put them on instead. I forgot about the SBP so I am going to sell them.

Rebuild kits, pistons, pads, lines are all available. Small parts are the same as Mustangs (and a FEW places repop parts for those). What parts are you talking about? Just because you can't pick 'em up down the street at Autozone doesn't mean you can't find 'em at all.

The early Mustangs used the same Kelsey disc brakes. Parts are availible. Easy rebuild!!

The K-H are a better brake, EXCEPT for the thin rotor (not legal to be turned, either).
