I have another roof for my 1st gen club cab that was cut at the pillars about 8 inches down. I need to get the sealer out of the drip rails so I can get the roof panels separated.
This stuff is like cement in there so not wanting to use a hammer and chisel I was wondering if anyone has a better/easier way of removing the sealer.

I have a propane torch, don't have a wire wheel though.

I had a piece of 1/2 x 1/8" stock that I ground down to fit into channel. I also ground a chisel point to get up and under the material. Just tapped it with a hammer and worked it down the channel. Then cleaned up with a stiff wire wheel.

Depends on the condition. Sometimes its totally dried out and cracking. That's when I'll basically chisel it out like mentioned above. If it's not as dried out, then I use heat.
