Tryin to replace valve seals and my valve spring compressor (standard screw type) will not compress the spring enough to get the keepers out. Yes it's screwed all the way down the spring....What kind of spring compressor DOES work? Thanks

I was able to twist the spring down enough to get even the triple keepers out on the shaft style tbi motors. Those screw type compressors are at times obnoxious, but will work on most stock engines. You could try one of the hook under the shaft type tools I guess.

I'd use the Chevy lever type, all you need is a stud or bolt.
