Fellas -

Have a simple date code question. I have a 1970 440 (F440, I believe) from a C-barge that I pulled from my 1971 GTX. My GTX was built in December 1970. Will a December 1970 440 be stamped with F440 (calendar year) or G440 (model year)?

VIN on the F440 OC234136. Cast on 21 Jan 1970.

The F & 0 are both 1970 model year.
