Hope it’s not too much of a thread jack, but does anyone have a source for some R.I.P. Glidden stickers? I would like to get some for a buddies car. Thanks!

SS & DI was by far the best Mag out there...I remember meeting Woody Hatten (Chief Writer and editor, R.I.P.) in the stands at Darlington in like 85 around the time IHRA tried getting rid of Top Fuel....he even quoted me in "View from the cheap seats" LOL

Glidden was a true Working class Hero in my book, work ethic second to none. Guys like Glidden and WJ always got a bad rap for not being as "fan friendly" as many of the other "celebrity" racers....well that's at least in part because they were working to put food on the table and much if not most of the investment was theirs.

A buddy of mine has a saying.....The guy who signs the back of a check has a much different view of things than the guy who signs the FRONT! beer
