Brought my car out to irwindale tonight for what I thought would be the last time I would make a pass. They are announcing right now that they were able to sign a new contract and the whole complex will remain open!!

Yes it was confirmed they're staying open 4 at the minimum of one more year and probably longer.. it was like a night of Celebration they have never prepped so well at Irwindale.

The track was sticky. Lots of breakage. It was packed!!!

It's for real. The contract was being signed while the racing was happening. It was a fun night. Everyone was in a great mood.

Thumper was there. Haven't heard back from him yet.

that's good to hear.... only prob with a "year to year" deal, is any probs they may have won't likely get addressed. Either way.... great it's staying put.
