There is room between the frame rails to put a 26" wide rad. How much the battery box will effect the alterations that will be required are pretty questionable, and you may need to get creative to mount it. You will also have to open up the hole in the surround to make use of the 26" wide rad. You might be able to go wider, but when I was messing with the early A bodies, a 26" wide rad was the widest thing I had available, because all I had was Mopar stuff. Gene

We're probably gonna use one of speedway motors' alum cheapies & they have a 22 24 26 28 31" total overall width

I have three early A body Darts in the driveway, do you want the inside to inside frame rails above the K member or the width of the top of the frame rails between the inner fender wells at the bottom of the inner fender well lips?

I ain't sure, I'm gonna set a radiator down in there (as wide as possible & I could cut the lip overhang) & I dont have the A body here & I am going to purchase one of those cheapies for my ramcharger in a few days then use it on the 63 dart that is coming my way in several months. I know the ram would take a wide one but I want the right width to be able reuse it on the 63 dart stock car.

Inside of the frame rail below the lip is 28.5 inches and top of the frame rails at the radiator core support is 32.5 inches inside the inner fender wells on my 1965 Dart 270 Small they be, and light weight also
