I would bet money that those blocks all had wet sleeves in them for top fuel racing so the teams could yank and replace them at the races.
That being said all those type blocks are famous for leaking water into the oil pan, which when you change oil after every run is no big deal to them guys
All the current top fuel and most alcohol race blocks are billet aluminum, no water in them or the heads
If Milidon made a dry sleeve aluminum Hemi block that won't leak water into the oil pan then maybe I would think about using one
Keith Black made the aluminum street hemi blocks with dry sleeves for street use and I think they still do
