Dallasdan OP mopar Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 543 Midlothian TX USA	I have a 904 that shifts from 1s to 3rd - no second gear at all. Anyone have some helpful tips? Is the front band too tight or is this the band in the pan?

scratchnfotraction I Live Here S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 15,487 Florida	band may be worn adjust the bands and try it I tighten mine up when this happens and I allways get 2nd back and the 2nd or 3rd time I do this its deff on its way out and I start looking for a replacement asap my jy yard tranny has been in 28 days now,the one I removed eat the band and you should see the groove in the drum....yea it used now

Dallasdan OP mopar Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 543 Midlothian TX USA	I am pretty sure this trans was put through HELL - I got this ramcharger with a blown engine - and replaced the engine only to find the trans wasn't too hot either. I have a 727 I think I will be putting in soon.
