This is this Saturday, the weather is currently predicted to be partly cloudy and 75 degrees, I hope to see everyone there!

Well I wish them well on the 60 entries per class. Probably be lucky to have 60 total.

They would have a better car count if they would advertise it.

I talked to her about that today, she said they are going to make a Facebook page for it and I told her we need flyers in August not 5 days before the event.

Boone and Dale had fun despite the low car count. Boone ran the Ruster Duster on pump gas, NA, with the air breather and exhaust in place and had a best of 10.55-129.3 with 60fts in the mid 1.50's and spinning.

1/8 mile at a 1/4 mile track. That is getting to be way more common than i like. It sucks

Yeah especially this track, after the 1/8th mile you have to drive a 1/4 mile to get to a turn off. It has close to 1/2 mile of shutdown from the 1/4 mile.

Clark actually won, second year in a row. So with the exception of the Ladies Eliminator each final had a Drag Week car. Next year we need to get some of the Drag Week ladies there for a sweep!

Clark pointed out to Lexie (who promotes the race) that a little more promotion might have gone a long way.

She said they are setting up a Facebook page so that should help some.

No Jim, I did not, one setback after another. However the engine is pretty much together. I hope to do the final cam timing today.

After that a whole lot of little but time consuming tasks before I take it to the dyno.

That was definitely the weakest swap meet I've seen, I hope the Facebook page helps.
