Looking for an aluminum housing (output on the drivers side) and high vol pump for the 440. I've seen some older posts about the stuff from 440Source, any improvement there? The pricing is good. Mancini and MP packages also look good, a bit more money. Anyone have any info on any of these, fit, quality, performance, etc? Thanks.

Oh yeah, it's a hybrid.....it burns gas and tires!

I've been using the driver side 440 source housing and pump for 7-8 years without any issues. I also have a pass side housing and pump I bought 2 years ago and no issues there either.

I have the Mopar alum housing and Milodon high performance water pump on my 69 440. They seem to work well together. Don't forget about getting a good high flow stat also to round out your combo.

I run the MP housing and high volume pump with anti cavitation plate... purchased a while ago. The combo works great. The MP pump has gotten very expensive or not available. Done again, I would go with the Mancini setup.

As far as the housing... there may be differences but I do not think the outlet size is an issue now with the 440 Source offering.

On pumps, there are differences that matter. The simple vane type pump with anti-cav plate run at least a little faster than crank speed works well for me (and others). The sexy scroll type pumps not so much from what I have seen.
