My question is, what is the affect to the oil pressure when a main cap cracks, or when a main webbing cracks on a B block mopar, Thanks Charlie.

The second time a freshened a 493 bracket motor i had built for one of my customers, when I took the #4 main cap off, it was in 2 pieces. It also had a crack running from the main saddle up to the cam tunnel. Customer never noticed any changes in oil pressure, or performance for that matter.
That motor did have a Milodon dual line system on it though, and those will mask a pretty big leak.
