Picked up a set of Hurst adjust a bar traction bars and was thinking of using them on a day 2 type car. I'd like to restore them and my question is this. Does anyone know if these originally had a sticker on the side of them with the Hurst logo and "adjust a bar" when new? Like the images in magazine ads from that time period. I don't see any signs there was a logo or sticker on my used pieces, but they could have fallen off a long time ago. I tried to attach a pic of the original Hurst ad but couldn't get it to work. Anyone have a pic of an NOS or super nice used set of bars showing the logos? If someone smarter than me could attach a pic of the Hurst ad Im referring to it would be appreciated. Thxs

This one? I would think it would be pretty easy to get a sign place to make up a couple decals for you.

Yep thats the ad. My thoughts exactly on a sign store making a logo. Just not sure if they came that way or just looked like that for the ads? Like I mentioned theres no indication mine had logos? Thanks for your help!!

So it was a decal?
Agreed, sign shop seems the way to go.

I have an old set of bars.
Not Hurst though.
Need to sand-blast & paint 'em.
I seem to remember yellow was common...

I also LOVE the "Day Two" stuff.

Yep an adjustable pinion snubber gets the job done. But I'm building the car more for a certain look than all out performance. Anyone have some pics of a clean original set of the Hurst bars? Thxs

Not the same
