Decent halogens and one of my relay kits work great.

If you want something else, they can work. A relay kit is always a good idea on the headlight for many reasons.

Halogens and I grabbed a fuse/relay box out of a dakota and wired them through the relays along with other high current items.

I know my memory isn't what it used to be, but doesn't a 67 GTX only have 2 headlights, one on each side? Where are you putting the other 2 lights? Gene

Poorboy, you're thinking of '66 Belv/Sat models; in '67 the Plymouth Bs added 2 inboard headlights, and the park lamps moved to the bumper.

With the 4 lamp system choices have been somewhat limited.
Best will be those that you can trust meet either ECE or SAE standards. And, have good optics (placement of the bulb filament, reflector and lens).

High Beams
H5001 replacement for 4001? using H1 bulbs.
Hella's "Vision Plus" H1 is a reasonably safe bet.
Either as a (pair) or buy individually and use the bulb of your choice.
Hella H1 at Smmt

Low Beam
H5006 replacement for 4000 (Hi/Lo)
Hella's bi-focus is supposed to be one of the best current options. You'll have to do some research on these. Apparently H4 bulbs are difficult to make effective with the smaller diameter lens. That said..
Cibie and Hella also have H4 in 5.75" currently available.
H4 in 5006
E-code is accepted in most states now, and both brands generally a decent product.

Some 5.75" H5006 sealed beam & H4 Photometrics at Dan Stern Lighting
It shows a good sealed beam unit along with the H4 and Bi-focal units mentioned above. He doesn't show the "vision plus" because he didn't have one to test at the time (he also has a bit of pet peeve against that line of lamps).
Definately do some more verifying on whether the headlight buckets allow room for without modification.

Crackedback can help with relay kits if you dont want to make your own. That's a big help with A_bodies that use just 18 gage wire to the headlights. But a nice way to get more juice directly to the lamps for B bodies too.
