I am working on restoring a 70 Coronet R/T it is a factory J5 Paint code which is Lime lite aka Sublime..it is a non vinyl top car...black bee strip I am worried that it might be too much sublime...
The car is not 100% Numbers matching... but I intend to return it to is Factory specs...
I guess I am wondering how much it would decrease the value if I went with another color..

Yes you WILL decrease the value. Especially on a factory hi-impact colored car. Stay with the J5 (IMO), then again, its your car.
Thats what I was thinking.. Where it is a Hi Impact color it would probaly decrease the value even more..so

never change a car that was born with a factory high impact color. BTW FJ5 limelight is a very desireable color. most people will pass on a car that had its color changed when shopping for a car, so for resale its a nono.

I don't think it's too much sublime at all, but a vinyl top looks cool too! Do it the way Ma Mopar did it and you won't have to worry about the value KID This FJ5 with white Belongs to Carsten here on Moparts!

Rich, If your interior was originally white, and you decide to put a vinyl top on it I would consider a white top that superbee looks great . Plus I'm bias my first RT was that color combo. But you can get the car finished and add the top later if you don't like the look Scott
