I have a 1967 gtx I would like to hook up my saftey neutral switch on the trans there is a single pole switch I have no wires I guess it goes to the starter relay ground where do I get the wire pigtail or can I just make my own is it just a single wire thanks mark

i just replaced the one on my 69 RR. mine was a 3 wire with both the switch and the pigtail available from NAPA. never heard of a 1 wire

pre 68s are just one wire since the back up light switch is on shifters up to 68. 69s was the first year for the 3 pins NSS with the back up light switch built in ( actually a mid year change )

I'm assuming your trans has the single pin NSS. Just run a wire from the "grn" terminal on the starter relay down to the NSS & you're set. if the trans has a 3 pin NSS, run the wire to the middle pin on it & you're set.

The change-over was apparently not immediate. My '68 bee was built in late June and has the one-wire switch.
