Late 71 and up E Body dash's were not textured. You can get by with a nice satin black more flat then gloss. I like Chrysler's PT11 but I don't think it's available anymore

I agree. The Dietzler number for black was 9388. You can go to a PPG store and have it made up. You will find that it is a low gloss paint with a bit of texture added to it. I just did my dash with PPG pain mixed to Dietzler 14000 Dark blue poly and it came out textured very nicely. Craig
