... PRO COMP roller tip rockers... Those five words together send a chill up my spine. Actually, I get the same reaction from all of the "Shanghai Sharp" rockers. Sorry that I can't offer any more than a bad feeling about them.

Get ahold of Mike at B3 racing engines and talk to him.
I'm not a fan of HS rockers. I run a Chinese rocker and they work fine. Ratio is dead nuts on. All rockers need the geometry corrected.
Talk to Mike.
Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

Cheap rocker arms end up being more expensive over time. Been there, done that It is way cheaper and smarter to do it right once the first time Instead of doing it over and over

Not saying your experience will be the same as mine, but I've been using a set of Pro-Comp steel rollertip rockers for years. They are on my 451 with a solid flat tappet cam, .573 lift with 160/360 lbs of spring on them and regularly seeing 6500rpm. I watched them real close for a while, and they have never given me any reason for concern. These days I adjust them once a year, and they're never more than a couple of thou away from where I put em. I believe that most rocker issues are due primarily to improper setup or oiling issues. I've seen PLENTY of broken high dollar rocker posts here on Moparts over the years..... just sayin'. Personally, I'd buy another set in a heartbeat. Although I would shy away from their aluminum ones. Come to think of it, I'd be less than confident with ANY aluminum rocker. These: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-Chrysler-B...s-/351717070355

I have the crane golds. If you go with a brand name, at least replacement adjusters and such are available. If you must go with a set of el cheapos, I would at least find a set that have bushings where the arms ride on the rocker shafts. When the cheapies first came out they all had needle type roller bearings. I think the bushing ones have less to go wrong. Crane are not making the BB Mopar golds anymore. I have filled an engine with rollers out of indy rockers so I would not run needle type ever again and definitely would not touch ProComp crap

Buddy of mine ran these for years on a BBC, changed them out every few years for piece of mind; zero failures. Last set he bought had 3 failures. Called them up, rated open pressure is higher than what he is running. He asked where they came from. Didn't really get any good answers. Went a different direction.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Chinese rockers...... I just can't do it.
I'm not saying I never would...... But I'm not there yet.
For Mopars, for me..... the cheapest "decent" rocker currently are the Mancini Harland's. I'm okay with those on cams that can be used with up to about 400lbs open pressure.
If I "had to" put a Chinese rocker on a Mopar, I'd probably use the PRW stainless bushed ones.

I'm 90% sure that the PRW and ProComp stainless rockers are the exact same units.

you don't like HS rockers?? I've just swapped out the std blue Dove rockers & gone to HS on my -1's. they are so much bigger & stronger, they're even bigger than the Ersons i bought off Bondo for -1's. The only thing i had to do to make them fit is swap out the side shims for thinner ones as they were too tight & created drag on the arm. can't believe someone would prefer chinese cheapies over strong as f. HS rockers.

My engine guy down in Tampa has built a 383 for a guy. He bought some Pro Comp rockers for the 383 for around $150 or something. The adjusters had problems (not drilled right from what I can remember) and the counterbore for the jam nut was not perpendicular to the centerline of the threads. It cost more to buy quality adjusters than the original cost of the rockers, then added to making a fixture to machine the c'bore/spot face for the nuts. He called the supplier (I think in LA somewhere) and they couldn't tell him where they were made or who made them. It sounded like they bought a pile of parts (Alibaba?) and were just selling them off.

I'm 100% sure that they are NOT the same, and can prove it if I wanted to. Of course, that can change over time. Heck, I can remember when chinese rods were all forged I-beams.
