2003 Concorde, 240000 miles. Solenoid pack replaced around 175k.

When coming to a stop or braking abruptly to avoid the retards its been clunking and going into 2nd aka the 'limp home' syndrome. Friend/coworker put his scanner on it and as suspected the solenoid switch valve for low and reverse was indicating its 'latching'. I ordered and installed a Sonnax remanned VB as buying the tooling and having zero time/space at the moment to tear things apart and fix the original VB is not practical ATM.

New/reworked VB installed, code cleared, relearn done. Go for a test drive and on the first coast down stop its right back to the same BS.

Understandably the miles and age are not working in my favor here. On the flip side the unit otherwise works well and the CVI values are all right around the 70% (remaining) mark.

If there is any positive in this I did install a drain plug and used the OEM reusable pan gasket.
