Can anyone identify this shock part # 2462067. The shock was taken off when the car was new, but the part # doesn't match the one in the book for the car I thought it was taken off. It is also stamped 3A5 if that helps.

That 2462067 number shows up as a standard-suspension (i.e. non-HD) front shock for a B-body. I'm not sure when it was first implemented, but the part number was changed over to 3400556 on or around 1/17/1969.

*Edit* Galen's little white book adds that the P/N was used for 64-68 B-bodies and some 69-70 B-bodies with Standard suspension, and some 1970 E-body 340-6.

The 2 cars that it may have been removed from are a 65 Coronet or a 70 Cuda. I guess it could have been from either, but I'm thinking the date code is indicating a 1965 date. Thanks for the info.
