Ok I just cant remember, are the outer tie rod ends right hand thread or left hand thread? Oh yea Im working on a 1973 roadrunner. thanks. Jim.

Sometimes, the zerk fittings are a good indicator of inner versus outer.

I don't think so on your particular car, though.

Lacking guidance from the zerks, the outers are generally RH thread, and the inners are LH thread.

I am about 95% certain that is the case with your car.

Although I have seen LH threads on the outside.
