Hey folks,

Can anyone get me the placement measurements for the T/A Challenger's rear spoiler decal location? Maybe a measurement from the top of the spoiler down to the top or bottom of the decal and a measurement from the right side of the spoiler to the end of the decal?

(Just for kicks I included a shot of the side stripes going on. Thanks for your photos and template Troy!!!!)

Thanks a bunch!

I'm using a repro stripe kit from Phoenix Graphics and don't know that the bottom of the backing is the same dimensions as the original. Do you know the distance between the bottom of the spoiler and the bottom of the logo?

Thanks Joe! She's ALMOST done. Should have her back Saturday!

BTW, was wondering if you might be able to measure the spoiler sticker there on your blue T/A in your sig? Would you mind?

Sorry to be such a pest for everyone. My son got his first driving lesson in the car and now my daughter is old enough to learn. She turned 15 a month and a half ago and has been asking when the car's coming back so she can start learning!

I would BUT...I bought a new spoiler and the spoiler that was on the car when the sig pic was taken went to another home with another Moparts member. Sorry..I couldn't help ya with it.

Maybe Barry Washington can help.

Joe

I do not have any measurements, but like most decals, while the engineering drawing states the desired location, in real life they ended up in different places from car to car. This one is on the low mile T/A, note that it is a little crooked;

Hey Trip, keep up the good work, car is getting there and looking good But you may want to be careful with student drivers ( do I recall that car has 4.56 gears in it? ) ....Dad may get get his neck snapped by a youngster having fun

I always thought the rear spoiler was organsol. and wondered how the sticker would stick to a surface that is ruff kinda like 220 wet or dry sand paper
Or does it have another paint on it?

Hey Al,

Thanks for the concern! I put the 3.55's in it for a little more streetability. I still have the 4.56's on stand-by!

We'll go over to their high school and go over some basic things in the car for an hour. Then we'll move to the daily driver after that. Just want their fist lesson in it!

Hey Barry, thanks a bunch for the shot! I notice the T/A is fairly centered top to bottom with the Challenger test laying a little bottom heavy. And yes, I noticed the slant. Thanks for your help. Again!!!

Hey Kevin, we're painting the spoiler with the same paint that's on the hood. I'm "assuming" the decal will stick to it...

Hey Kevin, the spoiler is Organisol.

When properly applied it has a VERY light texture, most folks seem to over do it.
