I have no idea how old these slicks are they are Firestone's the have been in my garage for the last 4-5 years the tread looks nice the sidewalls look good would you gamble a few shakedown runs on them or not. I know I need new tires but it should be running this weekend just thinking about getting a couple passes on them but?

Depending on how fast the car is, burnout, Maybe make a couple half track passes, If they still look ok in your opinion after that, its all you. Your life, your car, you make the call. I know there hasn't been a slick made in quite a few year now that has firestone on it, they have been called pheonix for awhile.

I plan on it as soon as I have a spare 600.00 to shell out. But if I have it running this weekend I dont know if I have enough in me not to take it out and beat on it a little
bring it to gainesville, I'll flog it for you I have used some very old slicks before and they worked half way decent. you got your seat belts in and a helmet, fire jacket?

don't need jacket till 11.49 Heck friend has a pair of JC Penney cheaters that still hooked good a couple of years ago. Depending on how quick the car is whether I would give them a shot at a full pass.

the tire on the car is a 33.5x15x15 when I get a new set I will drop down to a 31x14x15 I set the car up with these so I knew I would have plenty of room for the other.
