Which one is stronger overall? I am talking a 5.7 vs. a 340...non X-Block. No block fill...studs and caps OK...same mods to each.
Thanks
Curt

Oh yeah...THAT'S gonna leave a mark!

New hemi.

The cylinders tend to be nice thick and uniform plus they got cross bolted mains.

Aren't they a siamesed(sp?) cylinder block too?

Carol: "Wow! He's really fast, isn't he?!" John: "Yeah... but he's stupid."

i have seen some take 960 at the wheel. so its over 1k on an engine dyno.

no one has broken one yet. im sure at that level some issues will arise. eventually...

our shop car just made 513 and 566.

thats all motor. and its 392 inches.

The enclosed cam tunnel makes the hemi block stiffer too.
