DCM71cuda OP pro stock Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,329 NC	Anybody know a good source for these? Got a friend looking for some for a 413 rebuild [4.187 bore]. The Chrysler part # is discontinued, and he doesn't want to use a 440 gasket. Looking specifically for about ~0.021 thickness. Thanks for any help.

Unless you find an NOS stash or have one custom made the only gasket is the mr. gasket wit ha huge bore , i think it's close to 4.450 , or the MP gasket that fits a .060 440 for 175 bucks .

A quick Q here ... did DC ever put that #1851579 gasket in the big gasket package? ... the gaskets I have are all out of those "kits". This eBay listing ? .. check this one out ! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mopar-Dod...1QQcmdZViewItem This guy is a piece-o-work !! ... a cracked block for 425$ ! ... and he also states that a steel crank alone is worth THAT kind of money. I wonder what ELSE this guy BSs about.
