If its an original power steering car... Yes, it would have a cooler.

for 1971:
3.91s were ONLY available on 340 & 383 cars
& it was "HIGH-PERFOMANCE AXLE PACKAGE"

340 used Federal pumps (FYI - HEMI used Federal)
383 used Saginaw pumps (FYI - 440 used Saginaw)

Did these rules also apply to the A36 (3:55) Optioned cars?

YES, (A36) 3.55 axle package cars should also have a power steering cooler

I thought Glen-Ray had reproduction steering coolers, but I don't see them on their site shruggy

Glen Ray introduced them back around 2008/9 for about $300 IIRC, Mega Parts offered them at one time also, seems the offerings have dried up, IIRC only the Saginaw was being repro'd

I made a few repro Saginaw and Federal coolers many years ago, but the labour/costs and bearable market price, along with the small demand don't make them a profitable venture

Glen-Ray stopped making the reproduction coolers. Bob said the company that put the fins on the tubing went out of business.

When were power steering coolers standard? Was it on all performance axle packages? A31, A32, A33, A34, A36?

Did they come on any other option packages?

Could they be ordered as a stand alone option?
