Several of us Magnum owner's are in need of new windshields. Is there a source of NOS or replacement windshields for these and others.

I think maybe the 72 and up Charger/RR's/etc are the same.

Anyone out there have a source for checking numbers?

IIRC we went thru this not too long ago here on Moparts or another forum??, NO the 71-4 B body glass is not the same...1975 up Cordoba/Fury/RR... YES, will fit

Your glass #(838) is DW00838N for cross reference

The NOS one on Ebay is still there for $975 BO

The NAGS glass # is W838, W for windshield, this is the National search number to locate original or repro glass

Some examples would be: W838TS
DW838GBN
DW00838N

OEM and aftermarket suppliers will add their own prefixes/suffixes to denote their brand, location on vehicle, tint, clear, etc...but the 838 is your main reference search as most if not all glass mfgs/suppliers/installers/inventory/warehouse use the NAGS system to locate glass

I'd suggest you hit up a few local auto glass suppliers, you never know what is laying around in a warehouse

PPG has a Vintage glass service locator system

Also Metro Parts Market 1-678-637-6801 is a big antique/vintage/classic glass supplier

I got a windshield that I couldn't find anywhere through Bob's Classic auto glass... cost $700 by the time it got to my place in Canada, but it was better than getting hit in the face with bugs.

There is a lot of ill fitting, poor optic no name product out there. Availabllity or price should not be your only criteria

Googles would have been cheaper

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Yes but I believe the Mounties frown on such things.

iagree

i was hunting for some hard to find glass
and i called up a bunch of glass shops around my state and
low and behold i found it brand new
in a warehouse a few hours away from me.
i was to the point of almost about to search some salvage yards next..
