Last year I got busted putting beer in my 1/2 gal cooler so I drank it while the cooler inspector watched in surprise at the gate,lol I know the pound of ice cream well.I have had a 4 day pass every year from 1990 to now from back when it was IHRA.

I never had any desire to watch them until about 7-8 years ago and then 4 years ago, I got free tickets with hospitality provided.

A lot bad mouth the NHRA events but, I had an absolute blast and have wanted to go back ever since.

I used to hear about low attendance and things of that nature too but, the place was packed with sponsors, both sides of the track were packed, the stands were packed, the parking lots were packed.

I think it's an event that even non car people can enjoy. I loved it; I'm excited to go back.

That is great that you got the bug to go and enjoy it!I don't get into the politics of the teams I just like the competition and to see who can tune there car to get better.

The weather is looking great for Saturday,Sunday at 73* so the engines will really like this in all classes and Saturday night should put up some good numbers.

There's 17 PS on the entry list with Westcott Jr. in a Ford. 18 fuelers, 17 Funny cars and 28 Pro Mods.

Someone posted on yellowbullet that Westcott wasn't going to make it but will be out soon.

He's on the entry list? I guess we will see in a while here...

I guess they had a rain delay. Hopefully we see a Ford try to qualify for Pro Stock.

Well it is strating to look like the rumors of cutting pro stock back to 18 races next year is getting closer...Beginning of the end for Pro Stock. I have heard this from more than a couple of people close to a couple teams..Lets hope its a rumor

For the most part I think it's confirmed. Westcott Jr. no show for qualifier #1. AJ #5...

That was a rough start with it raining most of the day but when the cars hit the track some of them were fast even with all the water in the air.A lot of the cars will step up there game today with better air and the track may not get too hot with temps in the mid 70's.
