My '69 Barracuda came with 3 speed wipers, but the wiper motor is toast and replacements are expensive. Since the car will hardly be driven in the rain, and 2-speed motors are available from NAPA dirt cheap, I'm swapping to a 2-speed setup.
I have a two-speed setup a friend gave me out of a '75 Duster. I have heard that the rods are all different, but the two long rods appear to be identical, and the only difference appears to be the short rod that attaches to the wiper motor.
Another difference I noticed is that the 3-speed studs on the firewall have some kind of spacer on the engine side of the firewall, which won't allow the 2-speed motor to fit flush against the firewall. Are the studs different from 3-speed to 2-speed, or are they different from '69 A-body to a '75 A-body?
