71 Charger at Castrol

Looking for suggestions. More rebound in front shocks to get rid of 2nd hop?
RMS Alterkation front and street lynx in the back. 4.30 Dana 10.5x30 radial slick at 21 PSI
3000 RPM launch off brake
1.41 60 running 10.50's at 126ish
This pass the bottle was low so I was down a 1/10th
I will see if I can find where my shocks are set now.
Thanks.

Nice seeing another big car out there. Can't help on the suspension settings, I'm still running a near stock suspension.

Yeah, I get a lot of compliments in the pits. People are impressed what it does for the size it is

My '71 Charger was my street car that I put a stroker into, 4,150 pounds on the scale at Bandimere, but right now just running 11:80's @ 120 MPH (at Bandimere, usually way over 7,000 DA) with 1.7-1.8 60' when I get decent traction. I may have to get some cal-tracks, lighter T-Bars and adjustabe shocks to see if I can get it to hook up some day.

Front rebound is way too loose. Front end tops out, then it'll unload. The longer the front end can stay up the greater the load on the rear.

Right now I have my spare 440 in the car on spray as my 511 had a few issues so it sits right now. Car runs 11.40's with this 440 on motor. Add the spray and that puts me in the 10.50's. That is a 100 shot. Tried a 150 on Friday but the tires wouldn't hold off the line. I know it will take a little more off the line but I didn't have the right jet with me. So that will be next trip. Also this past trip I switched from ATF to John Deere Hy-Guard fluid in the trans because my top end MPH was low. I jumped from 123 and change to 126 and change. I'll take the 3 MPH gain. That little 8" body doesn't like the big Charger body.
Lenny from Ultimate had said that if he knew I was going to spray off the line he would of suggested leaving the 9.5" body he built for my 511 in. He thought when I was going to run the 440 it was going to be on motor alone. That was the plan until my buddy talked me into spraying it.
I may put the 9.5 body back in, but I'll have to muster up some ambition to do that. 😃
