Tom,
I don't have many pics of 70's, most are 71's. However, there are not allot of differences other than the intake/carb combo.

This one is pretty darn accurate

This is an original paint 71 engine but should be the same on the bracket details

Adam, nice engine! The alternator isn't detailed correctly, the exhaust manifolds need some rust and orange paint, just some minor stuff though

Adam, regardless of who owns it, it's a sweet looking example, most small block guys don't go very far into the final detail department for some reason, his is closer than most. I would have him take a look at that radiator though, good a little "green" on the front of the core?

I'm thinking that the return spring bracket is different in 70 can anyone verify?

Spacers are wrong colors and the center band should be natural metal with a transparent brownish varnish looking coating of electrical sealer, not black paint. I'd need close up pics or a personal view to comment much further.

return spring bracket is different 1970 versus 1971 . 71's are taller

Adam,

That one has been worked over pretty well, allot of good remaining details but allot of modified/wrong ones as well (no ex heat shield, hoses, clamps, water pump, etc.)
