I'd settle for 1/3 of the money that's gone into clutch management.

We had trackside camping at the 1000 ft lights. pretty hard to see anything but a blur at 340mph. The sound was amazing.

Why are the Funny Cars 'faster' than the TF Dragsters now days? I don't keep track as much as I used to.

More downforce and less chassis. The chassis takes a bit of mph for the dragsters as it flexes. I think the latest header design is helping things right along as well.

Heard some talk about the dragster guys have to run different gearing to keep nhra happy. Don't know if that is fact. Funny's have been stealing the show. Same way in the pro stock camaro class. Pro Mods stole the show from them. Stock eliminator is fun to watch, but Super stock pretty much sucks.

That record is at my local track, Huntsville. A few radial records have been set there. Also amazing since the concrete surface is actually broken up pretty badly as the track is over 45 years old.

Top Fuel has has a rear gear limit for many years. I think it is a 3.20.

Dang! page two regarding the NHRA big show. You'd a thought they were racing in OKC! laugh2 I'm just glad team was shut down in the early rounds again.
