When the drivers side floor pan was replaced years ago on my 71 Charger I didn't think to measure the dimmer switch location (if that part of the pan was even intact), I was just going to wait and check where the hole in the carpet was when I installed it but wouldn't you know it the replacement carpet doesn't have a hole either, so does anyone have a measurement where the switch should be installed?

Wow! I thought I'd just go out and peel back my carpet and take a picture for you! Six screws for the sill plate and one in the kick panel later, I hopefully got what you need.......




The one measurement is from the edge of the floor pan at the side.
The other is the closest I can figure to center of the seam at the floor pan to cowl seam (under seam sealer).

Well I'm going to say " thank you" even if he isn't...
