Weathers getting hot & trying to find things so I can tweak on the car a bit. I know these things are kinda out of date Lol but always wanted to try one. I've heard some say they gained a tenth & a bit better consisitency I had a couple of them over the years.. I cant say it helped.. but back then it was the "thing to use" but they dripped water(condensation if it didnt leak

I had a lot of fun back in the early 90's running one in a '70 340 Barracuda that ran mid 13's. On hot summer nights out playing on the street you could notice a little difference in throttle response. I picked up one at a swap meet a few months back that was made here in Oklahoma back in the late 70's. I'm going to put it in my '67 Barracuda to play around with. I also scored a NOS cork covered Moroso we are going to put in my sons '69 Dart.

I've still got a blue Moroso in the car but not plumbed in, with a return regulator it's not needed.
Have a great day Iowan

I had that long ago, but over time I really preferred to run a return system to keep the fuel cool instead.

It seemed in the late 70's and early 80's everyone used one. I actually put one back on my 63 only because this cheap pump gas I run boils about 190 degrees and I thought on real super hot humid days I will put and ice pack and some ice in it to keep the gas cooler. I know when I used one in the late 70's in my 340 four speed car it did help it from wanting to load up sometimes. On hot days you could tell if you did a dry hop behind the line it helped keep it from wanting to load up when you slammed the brakes on on very hot days. Did it help to go faster ?? I would think it helped a little but I really cant say. Ron

I don't think you'll be able to close your hood if you mount it there... HAHAHA I was going to say the same thing. Great minds think alike I guess. Jerry
