Still thinking of selling my originals and buying a set of the larger ones. Mine is just under 500" low deck with Sr's soon to have CNC 325 -1's. -Dave

As I recall from other posts, these are step headers, right? 2" to 2-1/8" If you could measure and post the lengths of each tube that would be good to have in the data base. ie how long is the 2" part of each tube and the total length of each tube. Back around 2002, this is what I measured on the 2" ProParts headers: Quote:
I put a tape through them and came up with this (includes 1" into the collector): #1= 46in #2= 40in #3= 47in #4= 33in #5= 43in #6= 30in #7= 33in #8= 35in
Except for 1 and 3 they are shorter then Hooker 2" A-body headers. The average length is 38.4" vs the published 43" for the Hooker fenderwell headers

I'll take pics and measure them when they get here. Yes they are stepped so I'll make sure and include the info.

So I have a set of Max wedge ported SR's going on a 528, how did you like your SR's and why are you changing?

I haven't run my engine yet hehehhe. It would have had more than enough power for what I am doing with the SR's. But A friend had a set of brand new 440-1's CNC 325's and sold them to me at a screaming deal. In fact the money I saved allowed me to buy a new set of HS rockers for them.
My SR's were heavily ported and were also set up with HS rockers. I just couldn't pass up the deal on the -1's
SR's are a great head, but the -1's will have more potential for me later down the road.

No, sorry about the confusion, I was talking about the ones I have seen for sale, and I do believe there are some for sale by one of our members in the parts forums, just do a search on pro parts headers.
