I have a 5.9 with chinese dual pattern intake. The water neck is in the way of AC compressor. I thought I could cut the right rear lug off the compressor but a hole opened up.
Anyone have a solution?

I dont know if a swivel housing would even help.

it'd take a bit of fabbing but what about shifting the compressor over a bit?

Had the clearance issue with an Edelbrock LD4B and the VIntage Air bracket for a Sanden Compressor. Solved it with an Edelbrock Performer intake that had the thermostat housing more offset to the driver side. Cleared, just barely, but cleared. Downside is the LD4B is a much better intake. Craig

The Magnum Edelbrock Intake and the now discontinued Mopar intake have the filler neck in the correct location on the passenger side
The cheap intakes do not

You could take a factory magnum thermostat housing and re-angle the housing to lean away from the compressor. This right here. The angle is very slight but noticeable. New ones are cheap at the part stores. If going used, check for pitting on the mating surfaces.
