The intake is used in the Canadian Nascar series where Gen III hemi engines are legal.

it's great news the more parts that come out for these engines the better it is for everyone who wants to run one.
Love the valve sizes they list, 2.14 intake and 1.65 exhaust.
Thought about the Distributor timing cover at 1700 it's bit pricey but the more they sell the more the price comes down.

I think Gen III is my next combo, I hope by then Holley will have a Hi-ram base for the G3.

Joe O'Cone from O C Performance has shown something similar to what you want. It is a prototype right now but I think there may be plans to produce it.

Roller rockers are already available.

If that plenum is extended to make the runner lengths more equal than I like it alot. $500 would be priced right too

Yeah twice the shafts and hold downs is one reason, and they are intricate to say the least.

The price is right in line with quality Gen II rocker gear.

Called Arrow and shot the [censored] with them for a bit.

This engine cost 27k. Uses stock rockers. The alternator on these nascar type engines cost 2k. They are running titanium valves that are coated on stock seats. They drill an .025 hole in exhaust shaft to spray oil on exhaust valves all the time. These engines make around 480hp with a 390 carb and a plate with i think he said 1 1/16ths holes. Will make over 600hp with a 750 carb.

He said they use stock rockers and apache valves in the trans am series. Never broke a valve but said on a spintron the intake valve starts losing control over 7000 rpm. They primarily run a PSI 1511 in everything and change them often but said they never broke a stock apache valve

$1200 plus the ride. Ouch...

Are you sure you are talking about this intake? Most guys are saying $ 550. Wow if it is 1200!

Port size at the head looks much better than the Ritter DP intake. Port taper doesn't look as good though. The Ritter DP intake has more of a ^ bottom. This intake floor looks flat. This intake might have better port alighnment at the head than the DP. The Ritter intake to me seems to have more equal lenght runners

Just looking at it I bet its a great carb intake, probably a little less TQ than the DP (shorter runners) and a tad less HP (more curve to the runners) but it would have a better chance fitting under a hood. I would also think a 6.4 plastic intake may be a better choice for injection because of the heat rejection aspect.

That's the EFI intake, not the carb one.

Yeah, I know it's for efi, but didn't think it'd cost any more than the carb version. They only ad 8 holes for the injectors. Plus the fuel rails and injectors aren't included. Not a big deal though, this hobby isn't cheap.

Does anyone know what injectors the efi version takes as well as can it be opened up to a 4500 series?

New here but not to Hemi forums. I’ve got a 5.7 based 392 stroker in my ram 1500. Im building it for street/strip. It probably weighs about 5300 lbs, Racing will be with 2wd and slicks. I swapped to a built 46re and a CRT valvebody, running 4.56 gears. I’m working on doing a 5.7 eagle head swap with the 5.7 eagle truck intake. But these single plane intakes are interesting me, my question is how much torque do these lose over the plastic intakes? With a heavy truck I don’t want to lose much more torque. I’ll be running around 10.8 compression and an Inertia stroker cam. Any input on these arrow I takes for my build?

What cam are you running? What fuel?

The plastic one keeps the air a lot cooler also so it works better with pump gas and high compression. Unless I was running a real big cam I would keep the plastic one for the cooler air and longer TQ oriented runners.

231/240 duration, .556/.560 lift. Nothing too crazy. Pump 93 gas. Right now I have the pre-eagle heads and truck intake and it really needs some pick me up. Hoping to get some more power from the eagle heads. I’m planning on utilizing the active runners in the newer truck intake with an rpm window switch. I want to get maximum power out of it N/A before I go with a turbo setup later

the eagle top end will really pick that thing up

Back when I had the opportunity, I collected the granddaddy, the 392 crate motor carbureted intake, which had quite a story behind it.

I've been letting alot of pieces go lately, but that one is not for sale.

So, the other day I came across this 2 piece LS manifold.

Though I am much less knowledgeable about aluminum casting than I wish I was....I couldn't help but wonder, wouldn't a 2 piece casting for GenIII offer some benefit. Could it be less expensive to produce...

Yes, they do. What started me was a $400 set of Eagle heads w/rockers and shafts. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? When they went 298 @ .600" in OE form, I became a G3 believer!
