Gabmando OP member G Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 192 TC, Minnesota	Replacing starter of my 1973 Charger Rallye 340. The mini starter posts location is very different from the original starter. I can hook up the wires but there is interference with the steering column. I tried re-routing the wires but they either don't reach or interfere with something. Do I need to extend the wires or do I need a different mini starter? I don't recall having that problem with a 72 Charger 400CID I used to own years ago.

BDW master Joined: May 2005 Posts: 4,744 Florida	Looks like you're missing the standard extension that comes on the factory starter. Don't think you need the special 1 mentioned above
