Well we are using a 47rh in a diesel project and the bracket blocks the rear fluid port
We've called PPP several times with no solution. Seeing if any of you guys have had similar issues or solutions.

How about plugging it off and drill and tap a hole from the top of that boss

Is that for the throttle pressure or the shifter? If it's for the shifter something isn't right, it doesn't even line up with the lever.

We've called PPP several times with no solution.
They should change their name to PPPP (P*ss Poor Prior Planning)

J-body had to fab his own bracket for a 727 too. There is a thread on here somewhere with pictures.

We've called PPP several times with no solution. Seeing if any of you guys have had similar issues or solutions. I run the 518 with the B&M shifter.. what is the distance from the trans ear to the bottom of that bracket hole.. looks like you can add a few washers to lower that bracket.. I had to add 2 or 3 washers to clear the lip of the pan.. as said already the shifter should be level so if its level you should have some distance to lower that bracket and you might need to trim the to of that bracket down so you just clear that trans ear

HILL BILLY?????? Guess you don't know how to reengineer your way around. I agree with Jake... the easiest way to get around this issue is to drill and tap the top of the boss and plug the current hole... that way your cable would line up

Im very well educated for one so dont get butt hurt that i dont want to be a hack.. And two im not re-engineering a transmission port, thats plain dumb when i can just build another bracket.
I made a post to see if this is a common theme with the precision shifters or not.

Sounds like it's more dumb to have to-reengineer a hole bracket and make everything line up when doing the hole could have been done in a short time. I was only trying to make your life easier But since you have all the brains then why did you have to even put up this post. Seams like you try and help someone and they blast you and call you dumb. I'm out of here........

On top of that the 47 uses a half inch cooler line instead of the 727s five sixteenths. I would make another bracket and possibly use some steel braided hose with a 45 degree fitting or something like that.
Good luck with your truck, what valve body are using?
